How to do a Simple Monitor Calibration

How often have you looked at a picture on your screen and been disappointed because it didn't accurately render the colors present at the time the picture was taken?  If you have a dark dog, or a black one, this probably happens a lot of the time.

Here is a link to a set of instructions on how to get more accurate rendering of colors on your monitor by a few simple adjustments to your brightness and contrast.  Please go there and look at the test images and see how your computer screen is performing.  In my experience, most people have monitors that are either too bright or too dark.  The few minutes you spend adjusting your settings may make a huge difference in what you are seeing every time you turn on your computer.

Here is a link that shows you how to adjust the brightness and contrast settings of your screen.

Give it a try!!  You may be surprised by the change.
